Develop an idea for a concert format of your choice - and Present it

* The concert format being created should happen at the Philharmonie Luxembourg - it does not need to be in the concert hall.

* It can be something totally new or it can be a new version of something existing - as long as there is a clear difference.

* You can use the impulses you got in the lecture, but you can also do something totally new.

* Present the draft of a concept for a project.

* Use text, photos, visuals, Powerpoint, Canva, AI, etc. or spoken word

* I will visit every project during the project development.

* We will discuss each project briefly after presentation

The following impulses can help you with finding a good starting point

* Should the idea start from a particular theme , topic or cause?

* Should the idea start with an existing ensemble or a particular artist?

* Should the idea start with an interdisciplinary collaboration?

* Should the idea start with one particular venue you would like to do something site-specific?

* Should the project you develop be a traditional concert or should it be something more abstract such as an installation?

A COUPLE OF GENERAL QUESTIONS

* Can you explain the concept in 3 sentences?

* What is the idea?

* Is there any topical focus?

* Will there be any narrative?

* What is the program/repertoire (as concrete as possible) and why?

* Should the concert be multidisciplinary?

* Is there anything happening before the concert? – Or in the intermission? - Or after the concert?

* What will be the audience situation and stage situation?

* Who participates?

* Any interaction with the audience?

* Any participation of the audience?

* In which context will it happen? Which Venue?

* Content, Audience, Location, Performers

* How many people will be involved?

* How Long?

* key-factors. W-questions

* Are there similar projects existing?

* What is the strongest part and which is the weakest part?

* What difficulties can appear?

* Why is the project relevant?
