Andreas Vierziger focuses on classical music of all genres, new concert formats and cross-disciplinary content and collaborations. He has worked with presenters and institutions such as David Lynch’s Silencio Club Paris [FR], Christopher Summer Festival Vilnius [LT], Vielklang Festival Tübingen [DE], Contemporary Arts Festival Budapest [HU], MuseumsQuartier Wien [AT] and he co-founded PODIUM Festival Mödling [AT] which - in his final season as Artistic Director - was awarded with the Cultural Prize of Lower Austria .


Music Consulting + Music Supervision

Having a degree Theatre- Film and Media Studies, Andreas Vierziger has always been deeply interested in connection points between these disciplines and music. He was music supervisor for movie productions for e.g. multiple Oscar and BAFTA winning production “All Quiet on the Western Front” [2022, Netflix], Cannes Palme d’Or contestant “Club Zero” [2023, BBC/ARTE], Daniel Glattauer’s “Gut gegen Nordwind” [2019, Sony Pictures], TV Productions of e.g. ORF [Austrian National Television], series such as International Emmy winner “The Empress” [2022, Netflix], theatre performances at e.g. Vienna Burgtheater [AT], fashion shows at Milan Fashion Week [IT], Paris Fashion Week [FR], as well as at London Fashion Week [UK] for various designers including Vivienne Westwood. Andreas Vierziger is passionate about many musical genres, and focuses especially on classical music, contemporary music and electronic music.


Artistic Consulting

He regularly participates on artistic committees and boards. As a jury member, Andreas Vierziger has been invited to more than 30 music competitions including the International Johannes Brahms Competition [AT], the Fulbright Concerto Competition [US], the New York Concert Artist Auditions [US/DE ], the Mieczysław Wajnberg International Violin Competition [PL], the International Karol Szymanowski Competition [PL] and many others. He is on the selection committee to choose the recipients of the Cultural Prizes [music division] of the Federal State of Lower Austria and has been selected as a jury member of the German Record Critics' Award in 2023.

Andreas Vierziger develops, consults and works on new concert formats, synergies and interdisciplinary collaborations for institutions such as Budapest Spring Festival [HU], David Lynch’s Silencio Club Paris [FR], Donau Festival Krems [AT], PODIUM Festival Mödling [AT], Lausitz Festival [DE], Camerata Salzburg [AT], Contemporary Arts Festival Budapest [HU], Jeunesse Austria at Wiener Konzerthaus [AT], the artistic projects at the Concours de Genève [CH], Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam [NL] and others.

Artists in various project collaborations have included e.g. Blixa Bargeld & Teho Teardo, William Wilson Doppelgänger, LAAKE, Julia Koerner, Owen Pallett, Aron Kitzig, and many classical musicians. As a sought-after lecturer in this field, he has been invited Tokyo University for the Arts [JP], Zurich University for the Arts [CH], Mahidol University Bangkok [THA], Royal Danish Academy Copenhagen [DK], Norwegian Academy of Music Oslo [NO], Liszt Academy of Music Budapest [HU], Royal Conservatoire The Hague [NL], Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków [PL], Sibelius Academy Helsinki [FI], and Paris-Sorbonne [FR], among many others.
